About Cowman International School

Cowman International School was started as a school for missionary kids on the grounds of One Mission Society Haiti in the early 1960s. The school is named after Charles and Lettie Cowman who were the founders of OMS in 1901. These days, Cowman retains its focus on Jesus Christ but missionary kids make up only a tenth of our diverse student population. Parents enroll their children at Cowman to give them a high standard, English language, American-style education in a godly atmosphere, where they can grow in spirit and in mind. Our students will be well-prepared to continue their educations at university in the United States or Canada and, ultimately, to positively impact this world for God’s Kingdom.
