About Grâce Académie

Grâce Académie is one of a kind school in Niger — a Christian secondary education offered to Nigerienne Christian girls free of charge on promise that the parents do not marry off their girls until they are finished with the secondary education.

The school was opened in October 2017 in Niamey, Niger Republic (West Africa), by a small NGO called Grace Education Ministries (GEM) for Niger, formed in California, USA. Grâce Académie largely follows the Nigerienne education curriculum (in French) to prepare the girls for the national exams. However, in addition, students take Bible, Computer, Music, and Spanish classes. Outside the classroom, students are encouraged to speak in English on campus. Presently there are 4 buildings on the campus ground – the classroom bloc, student dorm, and staff dorm. Provision for teachers include; A stipend acccording to teaching hours, a private room + a bath, and 3 meals/day are offered.
